Corey Dennard Aka “Mr. Hanky”
Musical Roots & Career Evolution
Born Corey Dennard and raised in East Atlanta, he developed his musical talents early, playing trumpet and piano before earning a scholarship to Southern University, where he performed in the Human Jukebox Marching Band. His production career began in college, selling beats out of his dorm room before securing a role as an in-house producer at Collipark Music.
In 2006, he launched Mr. Hanky Productions, producing standout hits like “Throwed Off” (Treal Lee & Prince Rick) and “Smart Girl Dumb Booty” (Tex James ft. Stuey Rock). His track “California” was featured in the movie Keanu and multiple major films, solidifying his influence beyond music.
In 2018 he launched Cultural Resources LLC. a full service production and entertainment company which became the home for all of his production and artist.
In 2021 he co founded Klean Energy Kulture a non profit catered to environmental justice to underserved communities. Projects like “Electrify The City” which revitalizes prominent staples in the community through energy efficiency audits, and workforce development have taken the organization to new heights. So much that the City of Atlanta’s Office of Sustainability has partnered with the organization for its upcoming projects.
